01.2007...MORE DISTRIBUTION & A NEW SONG COMING!

So! Yes. It's true. Finally. The studio is BOOKED. There is no turning back and I simply cannot wait to share this new song with you! This tune is expected to be a most excellent follow up to the success of the Supersaw injected 'Running', played by taste makers ASOT, Trance Around the World, etc; generating tons of google hits and forum queries; further taking the underground track across playlists internationally. Wow, 2006 was a great year even and it was such a shame we couldn't release the song :(..BUT! ..remembering that Nigella Christmas special, it's always healthier to have something fresh, cooked with love, hot from the oven..don't you agree?

Watch out for some fresh flavours with a hint of spice, just for you in the coming weeks.

For my American (and UK) friends, getting my music is even easier with new distribution through
iTunes  Also, check out my other distributors:  AJTunes (audiojelly), and IndieStore...with more to come!

09.2006....UPDATE ON 'RUNNING'

I have it on good authority that TIESTO played my track - 'Running by Supersaw feat. Veronica Start' - during his set at the Austin Music Hall (Texas) last night - but we're still trying to get this confirmed!

I just wanted to give you a bit of an update on this track, currently being supported by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adam White, Above & Beyond.  We are still working on getting clearance to release this record (a re-work/cover of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill) so we regret it is not yet available.  There was also some confusion on the Above & Beyond website that this track was by 'Tek^tonik' but this was an error. You can hear 'Running' here on ASOT 237 http://stage.arminvanbuuren.com/index.php?id=38&tx_ewplaylists_pi1[showUid]=465&cHash=347c8c04e0

Just scroll down to play the stream - 'Running' is the second track, right after Armin announces it :)

07.2006....MUSIC NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

Yes, you too can be the proud owner of Veronica Start's original music, including ALL mixes of Y.A.S, including the Sasha-sanctioned Dirty Bass remix.  Just mosey on down to the download page to hear some exciting & eclectic adventures in pop/electro/rock music.  With my trusty sound canvas made of cheese and Vancouver indie-rock producer John Shepp (Matthew Good), we just may have come up with a sound that was a little ahead of it's time...

Not bad for a brand spanking new artist up against the best in UK dance music.   Big thanks to Tracey at Power Promotions!

IT'S CONFIRMED.  Sasha, the number one DJ in the world will be adding Y.A.S. (You're a Star) Dirty Ramona remix by Veronica Start v Dirty Bass to his influential list of favourites.  "It's a wicked record," he says. Well, *blush* thank you Mr. Sasha!  Not that you have time in between airports to read this Sir, but your kind support is appreciated!  MUWAH. MUWAH.  Check out Sasha's tour dates here:  http://www.djsasha.com/tourdates.php  TIP - Sasha at Pacha (Ibiza) on 22 July plus, he's at club Fabric in London on 24th July - BE THERE - if only to, perchance, hear this monster remix on a MONSTER SCALE whilst you worship on the body-sonic dance floor.

05.2004   SASHA adds 'You're a Star' to his set!

Unconfirmed reports say the Sasha effect has descended on Veronica's Y.A.S. EP - no doubt due to his former support of Dirty Bass' remix of Bjork's 'Joga', called 'Emotional Soundscape'.  CAN THIS BE TRUE?  We've sent an email to Sasha's people and hope to get confirmation on this soon!

04.2004 'You're a Star' MOVES MIAMI Fabulous feedback just received about pre-vinyl mp3's of the You're a Star (Y.A.S.) EP moving the masses in various venues during the Miami Music Conference in March 2004.  Progressives loved Dirty Bass' cutting-edge Dirty Ramona mix, while his Body Rokkin' vibe impressed resident deep-tripsters.  Elsewhere, house-mavens were groovin' to the original Y.A.S. album track produced by Vancouver's John Shepp.  WATCH THIS SPACE!!

03.2004 - VERONICA GETS DIRTY! Not one, but two remixes are now complete - Veronica Start's single YOU'RE A STAR has been given a nasty treatment from London's Dirty Bass - whose big-bottom-end techno beats have been spun by the likes of SASHA, Timo Maas, Billy Nasty, Sven Vath, Marco V, Mick Beatle, and James Kinetic.  Check out the Dirty One's website on London Techno.  The remixes (Y.A.S. Dirty Ramona & Y.A.S. Body Rokkin') will be on a white label EP coming to a turn-table near you.
